About Development
The everyday events of simple family life is the focus of this exciting new series. The project is designed to promote the family home as the greatest place on earth. Being told with inventive techniques involving puppetry and animation, Happiness also aims to visually engage the imagination.
Inspired from the humorous, defining, and sacred events of the creators' childhoods and parenthoods, these stories resonate beyond time and place. Kneading bread while holding a random conversation with a two year old, sending toys off into the sunset attached to helium balloons, or gathering for family prayer - the creators feel that this project is unparalleled to anything made before.
With the establishment of a development grant for this project, we hope to expedite the pre-production processes. Funds will cover script writing and workshops, visual reference guides, and preparations for moving into production.
