24-Hour Marathon Screening of Two Old Men

Two Old Men screened last evening at the 24-hour marathon. I am hardly being modest when I say that our film paled in comparison to the quality of other films that showcased last evening. Old Men played second to last in the program order of 42 films and by the time we arrived at the end, it was almost an embarrassment to ask anyone to sit any longer to watch our little film.

That said, I was very impressed overall with the quality of the work that was shown. As a collective group, we are getting better. That is exciting. Polished, engaging, professional, more than not were the films that came out of this year’s competition.

I’m looking forward to next year’s competition. I’ve got to dust off the cobwebs and move forward. I am still very appreciative of Randy and Will’s involvement in the project and hope that we have an opportunity to do this again.
