A Gift for KathrynOver the past two weeks, I’ve been working to promote our animated projects that have been sitting on the shelf for a while. Why have they been sitting there, you ask? The simple answer is that they have have not yet been funded.

While this has been the case for over two years now, an interesting thing has happened in-house over the last few months. With the modest success of some of our recent web projects, we’ve been able to set aside a little in savings. When deciding how to best use what we had set aside, I was reminded of a personal gift that was given to me two years ago in October from a close friend for the express purpose of helping to fund these animated projects. Our business savings now equaled that initial contribution!

Having not made any further progress on these projects, it seemed appropriate to reserve those moneys for these projects and set up a fund raising portal for the project. Over the last two weeks, we’ve transitioned the animation section of the Sun Swing Media Company site to profile two exciting animation projects that are simmering on the back burner. What’s more exciting is that, with this original gift back in place, funding has already begun with 4% completed!

The site is set up to accept online donations with any major bank card or with a Paypal account.  Also a brief video clip of one our projects, A Gift for Kathryn, is available on the site, with completed production stills and funding updates. If you find that these projects are in harmony with your desires for quality entertainment, please consider making a small contribution to one of these projects.
